Campus community invited to Violet Haas, Leadership in Action, and Research Project Grant awards reception

Recipients of the Violet Haas Award, Management in Motion Awards, and Analysis Undertaking Grant can be honored at a reception at 3:30 p.m. Dec. 6. Jay Akridge, provost and government vice chairman for educational affairs and variety, will current the awards, together with co-host Linda Mason, dean of The Graduate Faculty and interim director of the Susan Bulkeley Butler Heart for Management Excellence.

The reception is open to all, and registration is required.

Violet Haas Award

The 2021-22 Violet Haas Award honoree is Dorothy Teegarden, professor, Division of Vitamin Science within the School of Well being and Human Sciences, and director, Girls’s International Well being Institute.

Analysis Undertaking Grant for Assistant and Affiliate Professors

The Susan Bulkeley Butler Heart for Management Excellence has chosen a recipient for the 2022-23 Analysis Undertaking Grant for Assistant and Affiliate Professors.

Ashima Krishna, scientific affiliate professor from the John Martinson Honors School, has acquired the grant for the undertaking “Documenting Black Heritage Websites within the Higher Lafayette Space.”

The analysis undertaking grant for assistant professors and affiliate professors is made attainable by means of funds from the Ketan and Tanuja Sheth Household Endowment and the Meghana and Vinayak Ranade Household Endowment established in spring 2019. The grant acknowledges an assistant or affiliate professor whose proposed undertaking focuses on any side of the academy and lives of school, employees and college students.
